Cancer Group Therapy

Cancer group therapy provides a supportive environment where people living with or recovering from cancer can connect with others who understand similar experiences.

In group therapy, I offer a space for shared understanding, emotional support, and practical coping strategies. Group support can help reduce isolation while creating room for honest conversations about diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and healing.

Support, Connection, and Shared Healing

Together, group members may explore:

  • Managing fear, anxiety, or depression related to diagnosis or treatment

  • Sharing experiences around treatment, recovery, and survivorship

  • Learning coping tools such as relaxation, mindfulness, and communication strategies

  • Discussing treatment side effects, lifestyle adjustments, and community resources

  • Building connection with others who understand the emotional impact of cancer

You do not have to navigate cancer alone. Group therapy offers a space for support, connection, and shared healing.

With specialized experience in oncology social work, I offer support that addresses not just the emotional, but also the relational, spiritual, and existential aspects of your journey.
